Job Title: Town & Community Engagement Co-ordinator
Place of Work: Southwold Town Council Southwold
Hours of Work: 10 hours of work per week – may include evenings & weekends (12 months fixed term contract)
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Pension: Option to Join the NEST pension scheme
Responsible to: Town Clerk

Objective: The post holder will be responsible for working with the business community, promoting and marketing the town of Southwold, as a place to live, work, visit and invest.

Key Tasks

  • Responsible for the upkeep of the TownApp, events platform, ‘Love Southwold’ website, to encourage visitor engagement and increase interaction.
  • Co-ordinating town events including Christmas Lights.
  • Continuing liaison with the businesses via the Business Association.
  • To ensure general cleanliness of Town by working with stakeholders.
