Southwold residents are invited to help co-create the future of their coast through the new innovative Resilient Coasts project.
Coastal Partnership East, the coastal management team for East Suffolk Council, will be holding the first event on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd December at Southwold and Reydon Constitutional Club. The event will outline the Resilient Coasts project, the potential benefits for Southwold and how the local community can take part to create and shape the future of their coast.
A Virtual Visitor Centre, which uses gaming technology developed during the pandemic, will also be available, ensuring people can access the project information and take part, even if they are unable to attend the event.
Pop in to the Southwold Virtual Visitor Centre at www.coasteast.org.uk/consultations it will be live from Friday 2nd December and will remain open and updated regularly throughout the project.
The drop-in event at Southwold and Reydon Constitutional Club, Woodleys Yard, Southwold, is open from 2.30pm to 8pm on the Friday 2nd December and 9.30am to 1pm on Saturday 3rd December. Project officers will be on hand to discuss the project and answer your queries.
